The Ex Pistols were a punk rock band from London, formed in 1979 by former Sex Pistols producer Dave Goodman. Goodman put the group together after his services were substituted for those of other producers on the Sex Pistols album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. The Ex Pistols existed as a sound-alike band meant to mislead fans due to the similar music, name, and artwork, until 1992 when the Sex Pistols successfully sued Dave Goodman and he was no longer allowed to use the name.

Deny is the second album released by the Ex Pistols in 1992. The album itself isn't an official, chart worthy album, but a promo pressing of approximately 600 copies. It was given to fans of the Sex Pistols, and occasionally left in Virgin Record stores with a sticker on the front of the sleeve stating that it was actually free

The Swindle Continues is the first album released by the Ex Pistols in 1988. It consists of half Sex Pistols and half Ex Pistols material, and is the only Ex Pistols release that doesn't disguise itself as material completely by the Sex Pistols.

The first half are Sex Pistols songs from the Spunk recordings (that actually boost SUPERIOR sound quality over the official Spunk CD, especially No Fun) and the other half contains 5 Ex Pistols songs and 3 misc. A rundown of tracks 9-16: - Steve & Paul demo, much like Silly Thing. This is a classic example of Ex Pistols songs and a great addition to the album. This version is NOT Sex Pistols OR Ex Pistols.
