The opening tune and title track, High Class In Borrowed Shoes flaunts everything that was great about their very bluesy self titled debut while adding a spice of near metal which makes for a mind blowing start to the fray. America's Veins is the other pure rocker on the album, and while this one may not be as ''high brow'' as some of the other tunes (if that could ever have been said about Webster) it still makes for a killer tune - and is especially excellent on their sole live album Magnetic Air. Slower, more balladic songs on the album are brief, but effective.

The classic Max Webster lineup was featured, from the High Class in Borrowed Shoes era: Kim Mitchell, Terry Watkinson, Mike Tilka and Gary McCracken (who sang "A Million Vacations", with drummer Robert Sibony on drums for the tune). Longtime Kim Mitchell bandmate Peter Fredette joined the band onstage to sing Geddy Lee's part on "Battle Scar. b/w "In Context Of The Moon". High Class In Borrowed Shoes.

Love what I am hearing. how lucky were we, growing up around such significant rock. that didn;'t come out right. we were spoiled as Canadians growing up in the 70s. Rush, Max Webster, April Wine, Lighthouse, The Guess Who!!!!!, not to mention Steppenwolf, Gordon Lightfoot, and a personal favourite of mine, SAGA!! 4 years назад.
