The last song on the album, however, is both a departure from Superchunk's signature sound and a fantastic reworking of a theme, as the band crafts a danceable, feedback-drenched masterpiece along the lines of My Bloody Valentine. At the heart of "Foolish" is the hypnotic riff that kicks off "Like a Fool," an endlessly repeating guitar line underneath which a programmed house beat provides a driving, pulsing rhythm.
