Maria Evangelina Leonel Gandolfo (4 May 1963 – 14 July 2014), known as Vange Leonel, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter, rhythm guitarist, journalist, blogger, chronicler, novelist, playwright, beer sommelier, and feminist and LGBT activist. Known for her distinctive soulful, bluesy vocals heavily inspired by Billie Holiday and Janis Joplin, she was famous for her work with post-punk band Nau, active from 1985–89, before beginning a solo career in 1991.

Vange is the solo debut album by Brazilian musician and former Nau member Vange Leonel. It was released in 1991 by Sony Music Entertainment, and produced by Nando Reis (Vange's cousin) and Charles Gavin. Both were members of famous rock band Titãs at the time. The album spawned the hit single "Noite Preta"; it was used as the opening theme of the popular telenovela Vamp, that premiered also in 1991 and ran until 1992. A music video was shot for the track, directed by Cilmara Bedaque (Vange's songwriting partner since the times of her former band Nau) and Luiz Ferré
Vermelho (Portuguese for Red) is an EP; the second and final release by Brazilian musician Vange Leonel. It came out in 1996 via independent label Medusa Records. Medusa Records was founded also in 1996, by Vange and her songwriting partner Cilmara Bedaque. The album also counts with guest appearances by then-Titãs members Nando Reis and Charles Gavin (who were also featured on Leonel's previous album), and Edgard Scandurra, famous for his work with Ira!.
