Sherborne School is an English independent boarding school for boys, located in the parish of Sherborne Abbey, located in the town of Sherborne in Dorset. The school has remained in the same location for over 1300 years. It was founded in 705 AD by Aldhelm and, following the dissolution of the monasteries, re-founded in 1550 by King Edward VI, making it one of the oldest schools in the United Kingdom.

Sherborne Preparatory School is a non-selective coeducational preparatory school in the town o. .The school is renowned for encouraging happy, enthusiastic and independent children and has an excellent reputation for preparing them very well for senior school. Approximately half the leavers go on to Sherborne School and Sherborne Girls, and the prep school has very close ties with the senior schools. Other children go on toa very wide range of senior schools, including Eton, Winchester, Cheltenham Ladies, Radley, Malborough, Bryanston, Canford.

Sherborne International School has had an interesting history since it was formed over 40 years ago in 1977. 1998 – The School changed its name to International College, Sherborne School. 1999 – Further teaching facilities were opened and the girls started boarding at Westcott Boarding House. 2002 – Grosvenor Boarding House was opened. 2011 – Mowat Boarding House was opened. 2014 – International College, Sherborne School changed its name to Sherborne International. 2016 – Tim Waters became the new Principal of Sherborne International, taking over from Philip Hardaker. 2018 – Work begins to redevelop King’s Boarding House.
