Wild! is the fourth studio album by British band Erasure. Released in 1989, it was the follow-up album to their 1988 breakthrough The Innocents.

Wild! was the second in a series of four consecutive albums that got to number one in the UK chart and delivered four top 20 singles in Britain, including two top five hits (‘Drama!’ and ‘Blue Savannah’). For this reissue, the album is re-mastered and comes with a bonus disc of remixes. The album also charted well in Germany, where it hit number sixteen. It was while promoting the Wild! album that Erasure launched the first of their many elaborately staged concert tours - this one featuring gigantic sets and props and several costume changes for band members Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, as well as several back-up singers and dancers.

If you are an Erasure fan then you will be familiar with the kind of sound and music that made them famous. In 1986 I had their album 'The Circus' and afterwards in 1989 'Wild' which I subsequently lost. These two albums represent just about the best of Erasure. There isn't a dud track on either. The CD's by Mute Records are really good recordings and do justice to the vocals and instruments. I don't think you can go wrong with Wild, if you like 'The Circus'.
