Fans placed flowers and notes on Jackson's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on the day of his death. On June 25, 2009, less than three weeks before the first show was due to begin in London, with all concerts sold out, Jackson died from a cardiac arrest. The Union is the eponymous debut album by The Union, the English rock band formed by ex-Thunder guitarist Luke Morley and Peter Shoulder (formerly of Winterville). It was released on 23 August 2010 and features, on a bonus DVD, the band's first concert, at the Garage in London from December 2009.

While exploring new mountain spots, Mathieu Le Lay makes a portrait of the Australian filmmaker Benjamin Dowie inspired by the mountain environment. The two filmmakers hiked 4 peaks in a week. Amongst those peaks, there was the massive Mont Buet standing at 3096 meters in front of the Mont-Blanc mountain range. To reach this peak, they climbed up to 2225 meters during 7 exhausting hours.
