New York" is a song by American musician St. Vincent. It was released on June 30, 2017, through Loma Vista as the lead single off her fifth studio album, Masseduction. On May 2017, The New York Times stated that American producer Jack Antonoff is working on new music with Clark. Clark performed the song for the first time in June 2016 during a New York City benefit show.

Vincent is the eponymous fourth studio album by American musician St. It was released on February 24, 2014, in the United Kingdom and a day later in the United States, through Loma Vista Recordings and Republic Records. Produced by John Congleton, it features collaborations with Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings drummer Homer Steinweiss and Midlake drummer McKenzie Smith. The tracks were arranged and demoed by Annie Clark in Austin, Texas and recorded at the Elmwood studio in Dallas.

In June 2017, St. Vincent released "New York", the lead single from her fifth album. The Fear the Future tour was announced in June 2017, with dates in November and December; the tour schedule was subsequently extended with performances through July 2018. Masseduction, Clark's fifth studio album, was released in October 2017 through Loma Vista Recordings. It was met with "universal acclaim" with an average score of 88 on Metacritic. On October 12, 2018, St. Vincent officially released "MassEducation" a brand new acoustic rendition of her previous album It was recently announced that she would be working with Sleater-Kinney to produce their ninth studio album, which is set to be released in 2019.

Also, I felt so sad for those who arrived late and missed seeing Tuck and Patti open the show. Their set was lovely, and I was so happy to have experienced their talent and their love and adoration for their niece.
