Bowling Green - One Pound Note (CD 1998). Pre-owned: lowest price

If his jungle-inspired work isn't necessarily the most distinct or innovative on the block, One Pound Note is still a great blast of fun, blending hyperactive rhythms with a winning mix of theatricality and perverse smoothness

One Pound Note The Bowling Green Nothing. If you've seen Velvet Goldmine, Todd Haynes's love letter to the glam-rock era of the early '70s, you've already caught a glimpse of Micko Westmoreland. This sweet, svelte androgyne played the pivotal role of Jack Fairy, a megastylized metaqueen a la Marc Bolan, from whom all the film's rock-and-roll glitter and glamour emanated. His fey painted features, swooping hairdo, and sphinxlike demeanor made it clear he had to be somebody beyond the silver screen. After years of appearances on compilations and imports, Westmoreland's debut album, One Pound Note, is getting an American release on Trent Reznor's Nothing, the record label that last year put out the first album by gay ex-Judas Priest singer Rob Halford's latest venture, Two. It's easy to figure what piqued the interest of Nine Inch Nails' main man.

Bowling Green is a 1956 album by the Kossoy Sisters. The album consists of traditional folk songs. It features arrangements in a tight, two-part vocal harmony, with additional instrumental accompaniment by Erik Darling. In 2000, the third cut, "I'll Fly Away", was featured in the Coen Brothers film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, although the movie's "soundtrack" album used a different version
