Four Year Strong is the fifth full-length album by American pop punk band Four Year Strong. It was their first full-length release since 2011's In Some Way, Shape, or Form. Described by vocalist/guitarist Dan O'Connor as being "one of the most raw records we've ever made, it's just us playing. No fancy computer shit. Made for singing along and head-banging. Go Down in History" was re-recorded for the album, with the original version appearing on the Go Down in History EP the previous year.

Four Year Strong is an American pop punk band from Worcester, Massachusetts, formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalists and guitarists Dan O'Connor and Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss, and drummer Jake Massucco. They have released five studio albums; their recent self-titled album was released on June 2, 2015, through Pure Noise Records. Four Year Strong are highly regarded as one of the kings of the "EZcore" subgenre of pop punk which is used to describe bands that combine the upbeat melodies and hooks of pop-punk with the aggressive stylings of hardcore and to a lesser extent metalcore, such as breakdowns, double-bass drumming, dual guitars and the harsh vocals. Overall "Go Down In History" is one hell of a party and everyone is invited to come along and have a good time, they have taken everything we love about them and slammed it into a 5 song EP and shoved in our face. A gigantic step back on track and then some, if there is more of this to come, then I'm pretty damn excited.

Go Down In History’ is the band’s first new material since 2011’s ‘In Some Way, Shape Or Form’ on which the group ventured out for the first time as a synthesiser-less four piece.
