The discography of American heavy metal band Disturbed includes seven studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, one extended play, 29 singles, three video albums, and 24 music videos. The band formed when guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren and bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak hired vocalist David Draiman in 1996. A demo tape led to their signing to Giant Records, which released their debut album, The Sickness, in March 2000.

The tightest, most polished Disturbed album to date. Absolutely incredible work, especially from Dan. The tight riffs and the soulful guitar solos are unparalleled here. Not a single track that I ever skip over, and even now, 10 years on, I never get bored by a second of this record. Can't even explain it, whenever it goes into my player, it goes straight through without me skipping anything. Just one of those albums that you can listen to as a whole and the whole is amazing. Then again, I can say the same thing about Disturbed as a band and just vote all of their albums as the best.

Ben Czajkowski of 411mania stated about the album, "After five albums, Disturbed has perfected their sound; they might have even become a bit more hard rock than before. Sadly, though, all of the humor that made me fall in love with the band is gone. Replacing it is the darkness of the world, sounds about death, corruption, and depression that come across as a bit uninspired, even though it has perplexed Draiman for the last few years.

Indestructible is also the third consecutive Disturbed album to debut at number-one on the Billboard 200. The album features significantly darker themes than any of Disturbed’s previous work, according to the band. Some of the lyrical themes involve actual experiences that vocalist David Draiman had endured over the course of the past few years prior to making the album, including bad relationships, a motorcycle accident that he was involved with, and an incident of suicide.
