Indestructible is the fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Disturbed. A self-produced effort, Indestructible is the first Disturbed album that did not feature Johnny K, the producer of Disturbed's previous three albums, The Sickness, Believe, and Ten Thousand Fists. Indestructible was recorded at Groovemaster Studios in Chicago, Illinois.

The discography of American heavy metal band Disturbed includes seven studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, one extended play, 29 singles, three video albums, and 24 music videos. The band formed when guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren and bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak hired vocalist David Draiman in 1996. A demo tape led to their signing to Giant Records, which released their debut album, The Sickness, in March 2000.

Asylum (Disturbed album). The cover art of Asylum featuring Disturbed's mascot, The Guy. Studio album by Disturbed. August 31, 2010 (2010-08-31). Asylum is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band Disturbed. Asylum is meant to take a fresh direction in the band's music career, while remaining consistent with the band's previous albums. Most of the lyrical content was inspired by aspects of frontman David Draiman's life prior to making the album. The album was released on August 31, 2010 in the United States through Reprise Records. A tour in support of the album, titled the Asylum Tour, started in late August 2010.

Indestructible (Disturbed album). The cover of Indestructible featuring The Guy, Disturbed's mascot, illustrated by David Finch. The album features significantly darker themes than any of Disturbed's previous work, according to the band. Some of the lyrical themes involve actual experiences that vocalist David Draiman had endured over the course of the past few years prior to making the album, including "bad relationships", a motorcycle accident that he was involved with, and an incident of suicide. To match the aggressive attitude and nature of said themes, Draiman told the other band members to create darker, more textural music than they have before.

Disturbed have been upfront about their cover of "The Sound of Silence" opening doors for them; it has certainly paved the way for them to show off their softer side. Evolution's "A Reason to Fight" will appeal to fans of their Simon & Garfunkel cover; the song starts on acoustic guitar with Draiman's voice at its most vulnerable within the track's opening lines. A string section gives "Watch You Burn" an uplifting vibe, but things are less cheery on the mournful album closer, "Already Gone," a heart-wrenching song where you can feel the pain in Draiman's vocal. Each of these songs contributes to the album's diversity; Evolution is one of their most complete efforts.

The tightest, most polished Disturbed album to date. Absolutely incredible work, especially from Dan. The tight riffs and the soulful guitar solos are unparalleled here.

When their singer quit, their advertisement for a replacement was answered by David Draiman and from that point in 1996 their fortunes altered. They changed their name to Disturbed and, driven by extrovert Draiman's powerhourse vocals and his forthright songwriting, they released their debut album 'The Sickness' in 2000
