The live album Weld captured the best moments on a two-CD set. The 14-minute rendition of "Like A Hurricane" remains one of the best version of the tune, while concert staples "Cortez The Killer," "Powderfinger" and "Hey Hey, My My (In The Black)" have never sounded so vital. It's hard to pinpoint a live peak for Crazy Horse, but this very well might be it. The album originally came packed with Arc, which was a single 35-minute track of various feedback-soaked beginnings and endings of songs. Joni Mitchell's first live album arrived at the peak of her fame. Recorded a couple months after her breakthrough Court and Spark debuted, the Canadian singer-songwriter documented the California stops on the tour supporting the new LP. Performing an expansive collection of tracks from her 1968 debut Song to a Seagull onward, Miles of Aisles carefully avoided the hits.

Ever! is a compilation album brand from Circa Records (trading under the 'strategic marketing' brand name of EMI/Virgin Records). Ever! et., however on a number of indie music collections the genre aspect was replaced by a full list of artist names.

The very best live album for m. .The best live album you never heard. Few bands sound better live. These guys were about to become huge - like Bad Company and Foreigner. 43 Live - Blind Guardian. 44 Concert for George - Various Artists. 45 Unplugged - Alice In Chains. Better then Nirvana unplugged - Sabbath.

Various - Woodstock (1970). Come on, of course this was going to be on the list. The seminal concert of the 20th century bought in a huge variety of acts for three days of peace and music. Featuring The Who, Jefferson Airplane and (of course) Jimi Hendrix - the sheer breadth of talent in this album qualifies it as one of the best live albums and best live performances of all time.

The best ever title for a live album? That’s easy. Ted Nugent – ‘Intensities In 10 Cities’. The best live albums of all time? That’s a tougher call. So many great live albums have been made over the years – especially in the ‘70s and ‘80s. In the world of hard rock and heavy metal, the live album became an art form in itself. For some bands, such as Kiss and Cheap Trick, it was a live album that provided them with their big breakthrough. For one artist in particular, Peter Frampton, a live album would be his biggest seller and define his entire career.

Ozzfest ~ Ozzfest 2002 Live Album. They could be huge with some more exposure. If you don't have their album "Scars" I would recommend that you get i.but "you can't always get what you want". I'll be going again next year. Keep those horns pointing up.
