The Innocent Men is a competitive seven member all-male a cappella group auditioned at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. The group was formed back in 1985 when six young inspiring men from the father ensemble "The Singing Statesmen" wanted to feature their style of A Cappella singing at the annual university talent show. The sadistic young brothers who tortured two boys almost to death will enjoy lifelong anonymity. The pair are likely to be freed from custody within six years, before they reach the age of 18. Then, say lawyers, they are likely to be granted the same freedom from identification given to the two boys responsible for the 1993 killing of two-year-old James Bulger. Cock of the wall: Despite their tender age, the brothers were feared. They are likely to be free at 18 and given lifelong anonymity. As in the cases of the Bulger killers Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, and of the 1960s child killer Mary Bell, lawyers will ask for a ruling that the names of the brothers should never be made public. Cosy life: A sketch of the two brothers facing court.

Pope Innocent was one of the most powerful and influential popes. He exerted a wide influence over the Christian states of Europe, claiming supremacy over all of Europe's kings. Pope Innocent was central in supporting the Catholic Church's reforms of ecclesiastical affairs through his decretals and the Fourth Lateran Council. This resulted in a considerable refinement of Western canon law. Pope Innocent is notable for using interdict and other censures to compel princes to obey his decisions, although these measures were not uniformly successful.
