The Roches - Another World flac album

Another World is the second full studio album delivered by Queen guitarist Brian May. Recorded at his home studio after the completion of the last Queen album, Made in Heaven, the album was released in the UK on 1 June 1998 and on 15 September of that year in the US. The album itself started as a cover album. The "Heroes" concept was to record his favourite tracks from his favourite artists, but the idea soon mutated into a full album. Another World is the ninth and final studio album by Gerry Rafferty.

The Roches is the 1979 eponymous debut trio album by The Roches, produced by Robert Fripp, who also plays guitar and Fripperies (a variation of his Frippertronics). Also playing on the album are Tony Levin, Larry Fast and Jimmy Maelen of King Crimson and Peter Gabriel fame. The album was well received.

Another World is the fourth studio album by the folk band The Roches. It was released in 1985 on Warner Bros. Records and marked their final release for that label. It was their fourth album (as a trio) and final album for Warners. Conventional wisdom says this is one of their weakest albums, maybe the weakest. Of course conventional wisdom is often wrong, as it is here. Gimme A Slice, the final song, actually starts off sounding like Alice Cooper - from the 70's. As a bonus, you get a free French lesson at the end (Who is this, the McGarrigles?) Despite having "everything on it" Another World was not a commercial success and the sisters closed shop at Warners. You just have to get past the sound and enjoy the songs.
