Rainheart" is another album highlight, a positive track about Zierler's love for his children, set to an uplifting keyboard melody, ringing guitars and a surprisingly warm, emotive chorus from Carpenter - usually more known for his brutal Halford-esque shrieking rather than anything heartfelt, but he pulls it off here. ESC" has all the pieces in place for potential greatness, but it falters a bit in the songwriting department. Although the chord/key changes are brilliant and the ideas are basically all good, they're not combined to maximum effectiveness. I feel like Finn Zierler's desire to break the song structure mould got the better of him.
