Miłosz Magin (1929–1999) was a Polish composer and pianist who lived in Paris since 1960. He was born in Łódź and studied piano, violin, and cello, as well as composition with Kazimierz Sikorski and Jan Maklakiewicz. In 1957, Magin graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University Of Music with the highest distinction. The pianist won prizes in several international concourses, including the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, the Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud Competition in Paris and the Vianna da Motta Competition in Lisbon
