This is not a perfect album, though. First and foremost, Ravager severely lack originality; this is basically Blasphemy played twice as fast. Furthermore, there are few individual moments that stand out from this album. Though the album itself will no doubt leave an indelible mark with its sheer white-hot ferocity, there are no individual riffs, vocals lines or melodies (ha!) that stand out. Both of the above negative points, however, are quite typical of black/death metal of this kind, and do not necessarily detract from one's enjoyment of the album. If you love your metal extreme and evil, then I doubt you'll be complaining about the lack oforiginality or memorability while 'Storm of Sin' is beating you senseless. You may well be unable to complain about such things, what with the irreversible brain damage that is likely to occur.
