Hang is the eighth studio album by American punk rock band Lagwagon, released on October 28, 2014 on Fat Wreck Chords. It is their first in 9 years, following 2005’s Resolve and their first to feature current bassist Joe Raposo, who replaced former member Jesse Buglione. The song "Drag" was originally released in 2011 in an acoustic version on frontman Joey Cape's solo album Doesn't Play Well with Others. In February and March 2015, the band performed at Soundwave festival in Australia.

On their eighth studio album (and first since 2005's Resolve), the group slow things down a notch, with many songs resembling Foo Fighters more than classic punk (the driving verse of "Made of Broken Parts is particularly Grohl-ian). Lagwagon will always be a super talented punk band, and this album is pretty good. But I must say, Strung Out has surpassed these guys big time! You can't even compare Hang with Transmission. Delta, it's ok at best compared to TAD!! It actually blows this album out of the water IMO, not even close.

Lagwagon, like many of their EpiFat contemporaries of the SoCal pop-punk explosion of the mid-late 90's, have been a hugely influential band of 25+ years that simply refuses to put out bad material. What's never certain, however, is the amount of time you'll have to wait to actually hear new material from a band who, like labelmates Dillinger Four and ex-labelmates Propagandhi, take their sweet time on getting new tunes out to the music world.
