The New York rappers have released Lice 2 – Still Buggin’ as a free download for the fans. The new EP features five tracks with production handled by Dan Hayden, Mondee, SoberMindedMusiC, RTNC and Aesop Rock. This collaborative project marks the second release of 2016 for both Aesop Rock and Homeboy Sandman.

Lice 2: Still Buggin’ is an eclectic five-track EP featuring production from Dan Hayden, Mondee, SoberMindedMusiC, RTNC and Aesop Rock himself. Both rappers haven’t seemed to slow down this year: Lice 2 comes hot on the heels of Aesop’s LP The Impossible Kid and Homeboy’s album Kindness for Weakness. Last year, the wordy, dense, lyrically intricate East Coast underground rappers Aesop Rock and Homeboy Sandman teamed up for a fun, loose, playful free EP called Lice. The EP seemed to kickstart a nice little creative run for both rappers, and they’ve both released strong solo albums in the months since. And now, they’ve teamed up once again for the perfectly titled free-download EP Lice Two: Still Buggin’. On first listen, this one is more serious in tone than its predecessor, but it’s still mostly about how much these guys enjoy throwing words around.

Complete your Aesop Rock & Homeboy Sandman collection. Wasn't in love at first listen, but it grew on me quickly once I gave it a fair shot. Had the MP3's first, then bought the vinyl and got it signed by both Homeboy Sandman and Aesop when I saw them on the 'Hey Kirby' tour.
