Bob Booker is half of a comedy writing production team (with George Foster) whose accomplishments include a Grammy nomination in 1965 as well as a pair of political comedy sides, The First Family, a brazen and absurd satire of the John F. Kennedy presidency, as well as a follow-up volume. Booker and Foster also created a whole series of albums devoted to Jewish comedy, as in the sort of gags Jews create about themselves.

The Bootleg Series Vol. 11: The Basement Tapes Complete is a compilation album of unreleased home recordings made in 1967 by Bob Dylan and the group of musicians that would become The Band, released on Legacy Records November 3, 2014.

The First Family series of comedy records ran 20 years and four albums, not including its imitators. The first one, released in 1962, had a short run as best selling album, racking up sales of . million. That's a lot of folks listening to wacky JFK impersonations on the hi-fi.
