Dame Frances Violet Gardner (28 February 1913 – 10 July 1989) was an English cardiologist. She introduced angiocardiography to Britain in 1946 and worked at the Royal Free Hospital from 1943 to 1975. Frances Gardner was born in 1913 to Sir Ernest Gardner, a Conservative MP, and Amy Inglis, who was the daughter of politician and soldier John Laurie. She attended Headington School, Oxford, and went on to gain a BSc in mathematics and chemistry from Westfield College in London in 1935.

Wayne Michael Gardner AM (born 11 October 1959) is an Australian former professional Grand Prix motorcycle and touring car racer. His most notable achievement was winning the 1987 500 cc Motorcycle World Championship, becoming the first Australian to win motorcycling's premier class. His success on the world motorcycle road racing circuit earned him the nickname The Wollongong Whiz. Both Wayne's sons, Remy and Luca, are racing motorcycles like their father.

Professor Frances Gardner is Professor of Child and Family Psychology in the Department of Social Policy and Intervention, and Fellow of Wolfson College. She has been variously Director and Deputy Director of the graduate programme in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation at Oxford since it began in 2003, as well as co-Director of the Centre for Evidence-Based Intervention. Frances would be especially interested in supervising doctoral students wishing to work on the following topics: · Parenting and Family Interventions (primarily) · Child Mental Health – prevention and treatment · Development and Prevention of anti-social and risky behaviour in young people · Child and Family interventions in developing countries · Child maltreatment.

Frances Wayne (born Chiarina Francesca Bartocci or Clara Bertocci, August 26, 1924 – February 6, 1978) was an American jazz vocalist. She was best known for her recording of ''Happiness Is Just a Thing Called Jo. Wayne was born in Boston and graduated from Somerville High School. She moved to New York City in her teens, where she sang in an ensemble led by her brother, saxophonist Nick Jerret.

Janet Patricia Gardner (born March 17, 1962) is an American rock singer. She is best known as the former lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the all-female glam metal band Vixen joining in 1983. She was the band's longest serving vocalist having performed on three of the band's four studio albums. When Vixen broke up in 1992 she quit singing to pursue personal endeavors. She briefly unofficially reformed Vixen in 1997 with drummer Roxy Petrucci
