Migration ‎(Cass, Album). This was the second long play recorded in Quebec by American singer-songwriter, poet and Cajun rebel Zachary Richard. who's been offering his zesty, unique fusion of traditional cajun, zydeco, rock, and New Orleans blues since the early '70s. Having settled in Quebec for most of the 70's, he recorded a handful of little-known (outside of Quebec) gems.

A compilation of Zachary Richard's early European and Canadian hits, Migration is an often overlooked piece of work in his repertoire, and it is a puzzle as to why. Maybe because it is entirely sung in French and not English, but whatever the reason for the puzzle, it is an album that should be sought out. This is one of his finest pieces of work in many ways.
