Ragged Glory is the 18th studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young, and his sixth album with the band Crazy Horse. It was released by Reprise Records on September 9, 1990. Ragged Glory sessions took place in April 1990 at Young's Broken Arrow ranch. The band played a set of songs twice a day for a couple of weeks (never repeating the same songs in a set), then went back, listened and chose best takes.

Produced by Neil Young & David Briggs. Mother Earth (Natural Anthem) Lyrics. Oh, Mother Earth With your fields of green Once more laid down By the hungry hand How long can you Give and not receive And feed this world Ruled by greed And feed this world Ruled by greed. Oh, ball of fire In the summer sky Your healing light Your parade of days Are they betrayed By the men of power Who hold this world In their changing hands They hold the world In their changing hands

Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Exclusive Prime pricing. His previous album Freedom -1989- had been very good but things were greatly improved on this release. Back with Crazy Horse, Ragged Glory sounds inspired, cohesive and ultimately above average. Neil's lyrics and singing are great and there are quite a few delightful backing vocals scattered throughout. It sounds perhaps like the feeling of having a great time with friends you haven't seen in a while.

Neil Young has confirmed that a new album with Crazy Horse is in the works. Crazy Horse is about to enter the studio with 11 new ones, he wrote in response to a reader’s question about future recording plans. The singer further elaborated, saying that new songs are going to be recorded starting this week. The band is excited to make this new album and continue our story, Young stated. The LP will be their first new album from Crazy Horse since 2012’s Psychedelic Pill. Young revived the band in 2018 for a series of shows in California. Those performances marked the group’s first without guitarist Frank Poncho Sampedro since he joined in 1975. While Young had expressed optimism that Sampedro would rejoin the group, the guitarist told Uncut (via Rolling Stone), I’m 70 and I’m retired now and want to stay home.

Life is an album by Canadian musician Neil Young and his backing band Crazy Horse, and it is Young's last release on the Geffen label. Like their 1979 album Rust Never Sleeps, Young and the Horse performed most of this album's songs live with the exceptions of "Cryin' Eyes" and "We Never Danced" which were recorded in studio. The album was released on July 6, 1987. The first three tracks all handle the topic of world politics, and ponder the role of the United States in the world.
