Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing is an EP by English synthpop duo Soft Cell, released in the United Kingdom in June 1982 by Some Bizzare Records. In addition to remixes of the group's older material, it also included a brand new track, a cover of Judy Street's 1966 song "What?", which was a Top 3 hit for Soft Cell. As the name implies, Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing was conceived, by the band's own admission, under the influence of MDMA (commonly referred to as ecstasy)

Digitally remastered reissue of 1982 remix album. Tracks 7-12 not on original release. Contains a 8-page booklet. Track 8 recorded at Stage One. Mixed at Media Sound . Remastered at Bourbery-Wake.

Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing Q&A.

Non-Stop Ecstatic Dancing throws all cares to the wind, and shamelessly spins the COOLEST dance music ever created in the 1980's

All lyrics from Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing album, popular Soft Cell songs with tracklist and information about album. Album Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing (1982). Dave Ball, Marc Almond.

Singer Marc Almond admitted years after the 1982 EP was released that the album was conceived under the influence of ecstasy, and that detail is key to understanding 'Non-Stop Ecstatic Dancing'. MDMA rubbed off heavily on the sound of the album (if the title hasn’t already given it away) - a new night club drug that was becoming a popular accompaniment to fast electronic dance music, and that’s what the album is all about

How brilliant is this! Cindy Ecstasy, thank you for turning these guys to E! Killer album!
Lightwind
Interesting to note that the remixed track, bearing the title A Man Could Get Lost, is originally called A Man Can Get Lost on the double A debut 7" release for Phonogram/Some Bizzare.
