Basically, the ice cream is on the whole expensive and unappetizing (to me) other than a few flavors, the business is not a staple or fixture of any kind in our community after 6 years, and there’s no indication that Little Baby’s has any plan to change that. If I’m missing something or incorrect, please let me know.

Overall, Little Giant Ice Cream is a decent ice cream shop and I always love places willing to experiment with their flavors but I just don't feel like most of their flavors landed that well. I wouldn't be opposed to giving this place a second chance but for now I'm not the biggest fan. When moving to Oakland as soon as I told people that I'd be living right by Little Giant I just kept being told that I needed to go every chance that I got and they were not wrong.

For more apple fritter style like the apple fritter donut- use more milk for a thinner glaze that you can pour over the whole loaf. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To make glaze, mix 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 to 3 tablespoons milk or cream together until well mixed. Place mixture in microwave for 10 seconds to get it pourable if it needs a boost. Let loaf rest in pan for about 15 minutes before removing from pan to let cool off completely on a cooling rack.
