Love is the eponymous debut album by the Los Angeles-based rock band Love, and was released in March 1966 on Elektra Records. Arthur Lee, who was originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but had lived in Los Angeles since he was five, had been recording since 1963 with his bands, the LAG's and Lee's American Four. He had written and also produced the single "My Diary" for Rosa Lee Brooks in 1964 which featured Jimi Hendrix on guitar.
In 2003, Rolling Stone asked a panel of 271 artists, producers, industry executives and journalists to pick the greatest albums of all time. In 2009, we asked a similar group of 100 experts to pick the best albums of the 2000s. From those results, Rolling Stone created this new list of the greatest albums of all time.

Whenever The Rolling Stones do anything, they do it with quality and gravitas. Having defined rock’n’roll in the 60s, The Rolling Stones entered their imperial phase in 1971 with Sticky Fingers.
Love this album, back to the 'stoner days'~trippindiculor~Awesome tunes. Don't let anyone fool you to think this is a disco album. Granted, Miss You may be disco, but the rest of the songs are a great mix of super-energetic rockers (When the Whip Comes Down, Lies, Shattered) and beautiful ballads (Far Away Eyes, Beast of Burden). While Exile on Main St. Has its week spots, Some Girls is a consistant strong record. Love this one, A great comeback album, far better then the 3 that preceded it. 19 Undercover. Most political album they made. 23 GRRR! Best Collection Album! That's right! 24 The Rolling Stones.
It’s essentially a collection of jams recorded while auditioning for a new guitarist. When they actually wrote songs – Fool to Cry, Memory Motel – they still sounded great. 16. Their Satanic Majesties Request (1967). The Rolling Stones, from left to right: Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Mick Jagger, Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor. Photograph: PR handout. 11. Rolling Stones No 2 (1965). The early 60s blues scene was a purists’ movement, but their second album demonstrates how eclectic and boundary-blurring the early Stones were, boldly defining a space of their own somewhere between blues, rock’n’roll and soul, amping up the pace and the attitude of each to thrilling effect. 10. Blue & Lonesome (2016). At the point where even the most committed fan despaired of them ever making an unequivocally great album.
