Live 93-95 is a great documentation of acid techno in it's finest form. You can feel the energy as if you were there at some warehouse rave (a real rave for that matter) back in the day. To see them live would have been a nostalgic sight today. They used tons of classic analog gear and tweaked, fiddled and sequenced live. Nowadays they have calmed down and dispersed their talents into other realms. Taylor808 has his own label (12k) making minimal house and ambient. Deitrich Schoenemann has some other releases as well.

Prototype 909 ( aka p909 ) was an American electronic band which was composed of Taylor Deupree, Dietrich Schoenemann and Jason "BPMF" Szostek which was formed in 1993 in New York, NY. Prototype 909. Talk about Prototype 909 - Live '93-'95

Andromakus
This release is a killer!! I purchased it right when it came out, and still listen to it almost regularly. This is what Techno should be like live. In fact in the studio as well. Sync up classic gear, press record, and Go! No laptops, No software, No digital "analog-wannabe" synths, No fucking around with all the finer bullshit that does not matter, just the goods that started it all. The only known recipe for truly nasty, raw acid : )
