Mortuary (also known internationally as Embalmed and Hall of Death) is a 1983 American slasher film directed by Howard Avedis and starred Bill Paxton, Mary Beth McDonough, David Wallace, Lynda Day George, with Michael Berryman (who only appears in the film's trailer) and Christopher George in one of his final roles.

Mortuary technicians Simone Hall and Pat Mahoney stand in the Palmerston North Hospital morgue, where they ply their trade. Not everyone who comes through the door is given an autopsy, but Mahoney and his colleagues still perform between 325 and 350 a year.
