If you’re a 60’s R&B fan and by chance you’ve never heard Are You Lonely For Me you need to rectify that NOW. Freddie writes some good tunes, sings with utter authority and actually tops Solomon Burke on Cry to Me. This is a @320 vinyl rip of my original Shout record with covers. Pickwick International released 1972’s The Great If, and two years later Scott resurfaced on Mainstream with the ballad You Are So Hard to Forget, which proved his final single. By now he made his living primarily through writing advertising jingles with longtime composing partner Miller, and also turned to acting, appearing in the films Stiletto and No Way Out.

Oh baby you, you got what I need You got everything I need You're like medicine to me Oh baby. In a world of salty tears So afraid and so full of fears So glad you saved me, dear (Saved me dear) You're the sunshine to my life Things were wrong, you made them right How did you do it dear I'm thankful every day that you came my way And I hope and pray that you'll never ever go. away

You're the last person I'm talking to, so you'll probably get the best interview, darling. I don't want to change the world. For me, happiness is the most important thing and if I'm happy then it shows in my work. In the end, all the mistakes and all the excuses are down to me. I like to feel that I'm just being my honest self and as far as I'm concerned I just want to pack in as much of life and fun, having a good time as much as I can within in the years I have. Well there you are, you have it on tape. Are you ready to roll with us! OK, let's do it! - Live Killers album, 1979. Good evening all you rock'n'rollers! -Earls Court, 1977. I really do feel like being evil tonight. What she says about Freddie takes on a whole new meaning when you replace "selling" with "having. Sparkylee (talk) 15:06, 10 May 2012 (UTC) May 10, 2012.

Oh, you know I’m always spelling you that you don’t have me on my knees But tonight’s the night that you’re gonna get the best of me Even though I tell you no, I don’t want to fight it when you pull me close Baby I’ll play hard to get, but your body’s so hard to. forget Baby I’ll play hard to get, but your body’s so hard to forget

1 Freddie Scott version. 2 Donny Osmond version. 3 Billy Joel version. Billy Joel recorded the song as part of the new material featured on his 1997 compilation album Greatest Hits Volume III. Freddie Scott (April 24, 1933 – June 4, 2007) was an American soul singer and songwriter. His biggest hits were "Hey, Girl", a top ten US pop hit in 1963, and "Are You Lonely for Me", a no. 1 hit on the R&B chart in early 1967.

CHORUS: You're so hard to forget So hard to erase Your kisses, your face, the nights, the love that we made When I made her mine I saw you in her eyes How foolish to try and pretend That a night with her would make me forget. Cause living without you is my deepest fear

Hard To Forget" (with Anabel Englund). I saw you yesterday and the look upon your face Said all you needed to say With your broken smile You were shy like a child Wanting to hold you all the while. If we take that jump, and close our eyes We’ll either fall or we’ll fly. It’s hard to forget all that you said And easy to come undone It’s hard to forget Tears that we shed Nowhere left to run I can learn to forgive, it’s just hard to forget  . It’s hard Hard to forget So hard Hard to forget To learn to forgive When it’s so hard to forget.

You can find the song if you only know parts of the song's lyrics. Looking for a song that's kind of a slow oldies rock ballad. I think the opening lyrics go "Love of my life, I don't want to live without you" though I'm not certain how accurate that is. The singer sounds similar to Eric Clapton, and the first line when he sings "Love of my life" sounds almost like the same notes as Clapton's "Lay Lady La. Anonymous 23 June 2019 Reply.
