Elf is the first studio album by Ronnie James Dio's blues rock band called Elf. Produced by Ian Paice and Roger Glover of Deep Purple, the record was released in 1972. In this album, Dio is listed by his birth name Ronald Padavona.

ELF (originally "Eric Lars Four") was founded in the mid-60's in Kajaani, Finland by Seppo Vuorela. Their first single wasn't released until in 1976, called "On rohtoo rock'n'roll". They played as a backing group for several Finnish artists like Laila Kinnunen, Carola (2) and Katri Helena.
