No Pussyfooting) is the debut studio album by the British duo Fripp & Eno, released in 1973. No Pussyfooting) was the first of three major collaborations between the musicians, growing out of Brian Eno's early tape recording loop experiments and Robert Fripp's "Frippertronics" electric guitar technique. No Pussyfooting) was recorded in three days over the course of a year.

Fripp & Eno Evening Star DGM Live, Panegyric 1975; reissued 2008. By the time Fripp and Eno reconvened again in 1975, much had happened. The duo had taken to performing live on occasion and a portion of a show from a May, 1975 tour became the basis for the album's tranquil opener, "Wind on Water. Unlike Eno's ambient work, however, this music still managed to engage on a more direct level, with Fripp's phrases and Eno's evocative treatments creating a piece that works on a multitude of levels.

Fripp's guitar is less often recognizable as such; we frequently hear what resembles clouds of bowed strings drifting through each other. The album opens with a quartet of naturalistically themed pieces, evoking water, wind, and sky, before delving down with a six-track sequence called "An Index of Metals". Not only did Eno and Fripp hone their technique on Evening Star, they erected a thematic architecture, which was absent from No Pussyfooting and would be crucial to Eno's subsequent work. The only disappointing thing about these reissues is the bonus content. There's none on Evening Star, and No Pussyfooting comes with a second disc of reversed and half-speed mixes.

Evening Star is the second studio album by British musicians Robert Fripp and Brian Eno. It was recorded from 1974 to 1975 and released in December 1975. This album's recording and the preceding seven show European tour by the duo marked Fripp's first output after disbanding King Crimson and his last before temporarily retiring from music (at the time thought to be permanently) to study at the International Academy for Continuous Education in Sherborne House.

With "Evening Star", Robert Fripp and Brian Eno take their collaboration one step beyond "No Pussyfooting": while their first album is basically Mr. Fripp's guitar manipulated by Mr. Eno, on this set we hear the two play together. Once again, the pair are able to combine their very different strengths into a coherent whole that results in some of the most beautiful and thoughtful music in the career of either artist. The recording begins with four short (by Fripp-Eno standards) works.
