Time Flies (Original Instr Version). Other Versions (4 of 4) View All. Cat. This CD single is incredible! I wish Felly would've become famous. Not even Youtube has the song so people can stream-listen it. That is terrible.

Time Flies Album/Journal.

Produced by Montgomery and Byron Gallimore, the album has a sound reflecting the post-2005 slickness that the ever-finicky contemporary country market calls its hallmark for this season, but never compromises the singer's trademark identity as one of the best baritones in the business. It kicks off with the rollicking rocker "What Did I Do," a ne'er-do-well's version of a love song that is more braggadocio than substance, but it's uptempo and the best excuse for a drinking song on the whole set.

Time Flies, is an interesting juxtaposition of cultures. David Klein, Carmelo Prestigiacomo.

Talk about Felly - Time Flies

This CD single is incredible! I wish Felly would've become famous. I would love to hear more songs by her, in fact I'd buy a full-length CD album of her's if it ever comes out. It's insane how rare this single is. I can't find it hardly anywhere besides here, and I've looked all around Google. Not even Youtube has the song so people can stream-listen it. That is terrible. The other single 'Party Time' by Felly seems to be even rarer, as I can't find anybody who I can buy it from on here, which is really bad.

terryplattarchive Yes, I'm aware of all of that. Sorry for the late reply, by the way. In fact that's how I heard about this single, was from learning that she was listed as the vocalist of Pump Up The Jam. I do hope that I find Party Time at some point in time. I was fortunate enough to find the vinyl version of Party Time, but it didn't include the remixes. I did a search on this other Felly you speak of, and after some digging, I found her soundcloud, which has some of her songs that are ultra-rare(at least in the U.S anyway). She is very pretty, just like the Felly from Technotronic. I like her originality, creativity, and ability to speak from the heart, in an organic non-gimmicky way. I tried to play the link you posted, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. I was able to hear the remix but unfortunately, the original wasn't listed on the link I found. I hope to find it eventually. Yes, it's definitely excellent to learn that there are 2 Fellys who make incredible music.

terryplattarchive I don't know why it's no longer there. I know it couldn't be a copyright claim issue, as it's literally so rare that even BMG wouldn't have a problem with it being uploaded. I could attempt to upload it, and hopefully it will stay up this time. But I love it so much, that I even considered making my own vocal remix, even though I'm not a famous artist as of yet. It would incorporate all of her vocals plus mine. I might not even need to clear it, since the copyright is likely expired and not renewed; especially if I list it under fair use.

Surely, it was Manuela Barbra Moasco Kamosi (Ya Kid K) who vocalled "Pump Up The Jam"?

Sadly, it seems to have disappeared. Any chance it could be reposted - or have YT booted it out for one of their incomprehensible reasons?

Shindogg, I agree with you, this single is really terrific, it should have got plenty of airplay, and led to a hit record and a longer music career. She's also really gorgeous, and no doubt you already know that she was the vocalist on Technotronic's Pump Up The Jam, but replaced in the video and on live shows by Ya Kid K. I found myself a copy of the CD single on Discogs (but like you, I've not been able to find the Party Time single - put it on your wishlist, it'll come up eventually!) While I was searching for it, I found that there is another Felly (whose real name is Felicia Tawiah). She is Ghanaian (and cute as kittens!), and she has made a few records there, which have been quite successful. I've no idea how to get hold of them - they don't seem to be available outside Ghana, but if you do a Google search, you'll find several websites which are streaming them, and where you can hear them in full. The best is the first, Follow Me, which is a relatively tuneful and very addictive rap which, although I'm no fan of that genre, I really adore - it just fizzes and sparkles with clever ideas, and if you listen carefully, shows great creativity and attention to detail. Her rap is very tight, and the interaction with the backing vocals is very much equal to anything by Nicki Minaj, Lil' Kim or Missy Elliott. You can find it here, in 2 different versions: https://soundcloud.com/teamfelly/felly-follow-me-ft-e-l-prod-by The lead version at the top of the screen is a remix, featuring E.L., but the original and best is in a small panel at the bottom right of the screen - just click on the panel, and the sound file will come up. I love it, and it was an unexpected bonus and a great find in my search for the other Felly's material! How good to find that there are 2 Fellys making great music!!
