Waiting for the Punchline is Extreme's fourth album, which was released in 1995. It is known by fans as a distinctively raw sounding record - especially when compared to the big production of the two previous albums - with a significant influence from grunge, while still showcasing guitarist Nuno Bettencourt's talents. Due to its lyrics focused heavily on social matters (ranging from religion to fame) it is often cited as a concept album.

And Waiting for the Flies does offer up speed, melody, and heaviness in abundance. Unfortunately, this album is just not memorable enough. On a superficial level it can be said that they do everything that is asked.

Waiting For A Train is the tenth track on the album Inception: Music from the Motion Picture. It runs for 9:30 minutes. Its title refers to a phrase said by Dom to Mal when they were experimenting in Limbo. The track plays when Cobb is explaining to Ariadne how he and Mal got stuck down in Limbo and how Mal eventually killed herself, as well as when Cobb has to let her go while they're both (him and his projection of Mal) in Limbo, at the end of the operation.

Extreme's third album was lost in the thunder of grunge, selling far below expectations. The group fought back with Waiting for the Punchline, blasting out at the new wave of hard rockers by saying they'll be "Hip Today" and, presumably, gone tomorrow. Such proclamations would carry greater weight if they were supported by music that didn't replicate the soft melodic crunch of '80s pop-metal. Nuno Bettencourt remains a stunningly accomplished guitarist, but as a composer he's stuck in an increasingly restrictive formula.

SONG MEANING: "Waiting for Love" is about love overcoming everything else, and it may not be the kind of love you think at first. Waiting for Love" by Avicii has been out for a while now; it was released on May 22, 2015, and it's still going strong, with over 184,000. In the Pre-Chorus, Aldred sings, "For every tyrant, a tear for the vulnerable. We pity those who are taken advantage of by evil people who have no love for others, and we recognize that even those people have a potential for love and good: "In every lost soul, the bones of a miracle. In fact, the tear cried could be coming from the soft part of the tyrant's heart, but Avicii doesn't make that clear.
