dirty south punk rock.

I have made whole wheat sourdough in the past but never an entirely whole grain version, I typically mix in some white flour or sift out the bran, never to return. However, this entry is a real 100% whole wheat sourdough, through and through, and I have to say its taste surprised me. Not too wheaty, not bitter, and a beautiful rise with a just-dark-enough colored crust.

These Whole Wheat Pancakes have really delicious flavor and a fluffy texture. These Whole Wheat Pancakes are made with 100% whole wheat flour and taste absolutely delicious! They’re a healthier option to enjoy for breakfast or brunch.

And this album happens to be very good. What makes this whole thing work in an album context is that all the thematic and sonic pieces fit together- these weird, morning-after tales of lust, hurt, and over-indulgence ("Bring the drugs, baby, I can bring my pain," goes one refrain) are matched by this incredibly lush, downcast music.

Whole Wheat Bread is a band featuring Aaron Abraham on vocals/guitar/bass, Joseph Largen aka Mr. Whitefolks on drums and Will Frazier on bass. All three members of the band grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and life there largely influenced the band’s sound that might be best described as dirty south punk rock but contains elements of several genres including punk, crunk, reggae, rap and metal.
