Information about Rick Wakeman, the world renowned keyboard player both as a member of YES and as a solo artist. Thursday, November 17, 2016. Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, NV.

Certainly, the most exciting news for long-time YES fans was the recent announcement that three of the group’s best known past members, singer Jon Anderson, guitarist Trevor Rabin, and keyboardist Rick Wakeman – ARW – have united and will be embarking on a world tour starting in early October (October 4th in Orlando, Florida at Hard Rock Live) running through the spring. And now, it is time to announce who will be joining the trio for the 2016 tour: LEE POMEROY (bass). Lou was an original member of Cock Robin, who released their debut album on Columbia Records. He has worked with producers Bob Ezrin, Eddie Offord, Paul De Villiers, Trevor Horn, Steve Hillage and Ken Scott

Jon Anderson says his collaboration with fellow ex-Yes men Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman will release new music – but there won’t be an album. Anderson, Rabin & Wakeman have confirmed tour dates in North America this year and the UK in 2017, to include material from their old band alongside fresh compositions. The vocalist had previously confirmed writing was underway, while keyboardist Wakeman had sounded a note of caution over the chances of an album. Anderson tells Something Else : We want to do something creatively new. Of course, a lot of fans want to hear us do Yes music, so we’re.

Rabin - who played with Yes mainly from 1983 to 1994 and wrote much of the music on four albums, including the popular 1983 album "90125" - displayed major chops on lead guitar while Wakeman, decked out in his traditional cape, one that would make Merlin the Magician envious, was his usual witch on keyboards
