The move is a fitting one given that Charlotte's Web takes place on a farm and, in that sense, Elfman's work here most closely borrows from Copland's "Appalachian Spring. Also included is the lyrical pop song "Ordinary Miracle," performed by vocalist Sarah McLachlan.

Charlotte's Web: Music from the Motion Picture was released by Sony Classical on December 5, 2006. In addition to the instrumental score by Danny Elfman, the soundtrack includes a song named "Ordinary Miracle" by Sarah McLachlan, which she herself performed during the opening ceremonies of her hometown Vancouver Winter Olympics.
