Rescue was a band from Detroit, Michigan. Members included Michael Majewski, Ryan Clancy, Alan Scheurman (now known as Santiparro), Cassandra Verras, Sean Clancy, and Brian Southall. They released several albums before breaking up in 2006/2007. Their final album was titled Paranoid. Popular Rescue songs. Breaking My Own Heart. I Am the Queens of Comparison. Song for the Eager and the Invisible.

In the spring of 2004, Rescue turned to Haines once again and created a "mini" full-length album, Flamingo Minutes. This album started the growth of their music. Instead of the post-punk, start-stop sound they had used before, Rescue ventured into a "darker, thicker, and much more sexually-charged arena. However, misfortune soon took a toll on the band. After two years, Rescue finished Paranoid. The band says the album "bellows reflections of ten hour work days followed by sessions lasting until dawn.
