Everyone always wants to know what are the best songs of all time, so it's only fair to get as many people to weigh in as possible. For this list, we’re not looking for the best-selling singles or even the most streamed songs. What people really want to know is simply what are the most popular and best songs of all time. So even if you think Rick Astley’s seminal hit Never Gonna Give You Up is the best song ever, it’s allowed

The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" was the cover story of a special issue of Rolling Stone, issue number 963, published in December 2004, a year after the magazine published its list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time".

It's been an interesting decade for the album. And while there's still a certain inevitability to the notion-the way we experience recorded music has never been fixed, after all-you get the feeling that it's going to take a while.

It's easy to understand why when you hear this radio broadcast (released in 1971) from a New York station. The strings and lush arrangements are stripped from the songs, but they've never sounded nearly as intense or alive. This is Elton's Live at Leeds or Live at the Apollo. Just six months after wrapping work on Honky Château, Elton John returned to the Château d'Hérouville in France to cut another album. Songs were pouring out of Elton and Bernie Taupin at this point, and radio was playing their music constantly. The Beatles were long over, Bob Dylan was in hiding and CSNY were burned out.

It’s Gonna Be Me by ‘N Sync. Not a year goes by that all of the internet is not reminded of this epic second single off the boy band’s mega-hit sophomore album. You know the meme we're talking about. Hint: It comes around every Ma. Despite JT and the gang’s status in the hearts of girls everywhere, this 2000 track was actually the only one to nab Billboard’s top spot. There’s only one name we’d allow on this list twice, and it’s obviously the King of Pop’s. The foot-tapping, finger-snapping, head-tilting beat of Billie Jean incites a rush to the dance floor every time it hits the speakers.

Chapters such as It's Right to be Wrong, Have you Noticed How the Cleverest People at School Are Not Those Who Make It In Life? and Do Not Seek Praise, Seek Criticism are accompanied by an entertaining collection of photos and illustrations. Get it and you'll never think the same way again. The former creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi teaches readers how to smash down life's impossible barriers using a fresh combination of wit, smart thinking, and horrific mistakes.

It's mad and hysterical like old Korn especially on songs like Everything Falls Apart. It's emotional on songs like when you're not there and the Hating. It's atmospheric on Different World. They have their old sound mixed with their maturity as musicians, and John's screams have never ever been better. They rate this album themselves as top two or three of their career. I believe it is number 1. I honestly like this better than the first album. Because it really is hardcore like the first album, but with much more depth musically. It has more elements with electronic.
