Title TK is the third studio album by American alternative rock band the Breeders, released on May 20 and 21, 2002 by 4AD in the United Kingdom and Elektra Records in the United States, and on May 10 by P-Vine Records in Japan. The album-whose name means "title to come" in journalistic shorthand-generated three singles: "Off You", "Huffer", and "Son of Three". Title TK reached the top 100 in France, Germany, the UK, and Australia, and number 130 in the US.

The Breeders Format: Vinyl. Title Tk. "Please retry". This album simply rocks. Not in a Rock and Roll fashion, nor a classic 70's or punk 80's fashion. Title TK is the perfect combination between folk and punk, where the atmosphere is created by a revolution of riffs and bass leads. The tone of the record is kept top-notch even if sound quality is meant to be non-digital. I have not heard any of The Breeders last albums yet, but im really impressed with the work theyve done here.

Title TK also finds Deal dabbling with new sounds, with hit-and-miss results. The She" is built around a Stereolab-ish keyboard vamp, and while you shouldn't expect grooves as tight as Le Tigre's, the Breeders' rough-and-tumble brand of funk is convincingly nasty. But the silly slap-back percussion of "Sinister Foxx" and Record Engineering 101 channel-swapping guitars on "Huffer" aren't exactly cutting edge  . And for an album so highly anticipated for so long, Title TK feels awfully skimpy, at just over 38 minutes, and pretty shamelessly padded. Did we really need the two false endings and an extended jam that stretches "London" past the three-minute mark?

The Breeders-who then consisted of Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Jose Medeles, Richard Presley, and Mando Lopez-later re-recorded "Son of Three" at a different Hollywood studio as Title TK's third European single. This subsequent recording is shorter and faster than the album track, and matches how they were playing the song in concert in 2002. The "Son of Three" single was released in September 2002 on 4AD, and reached No. 72 in the United Kingdom. The single includes a live performance of the group's 1992 song "Safari" and a cover of Nerf Herder's theme.

It's also odd, tuneful, sad, and impressively empty sounding, the arrangements of the tunes showcasing skeletal guitar and drum patterns and Deal's remarkable voice.
