The Wonder Years is an American rock band from Lansdale, Pennsylvania that formed in July 2005. Since their inception, they have released six full-length albums, two EPs, and several splits/compilations. The group is currently signed to Hopeless Records. Their name originates from a paper that lead vocalist, Dan 'Soupy' Campbell, read that was written by one of his after-school educators titled "The Wonder Years.

After 4 years of DIY touring and writing songs about Captain Crunch and zombies, TWY released their sophomore full length, The Upsides, in January 2010. If you were to call this a concept album, you wouldn’t be wrong; the entire record seems to be based on finding the good in life, having fun, and four simple words: I’m not sad anymore. A total of 4 songs use this line, but the lyrics never seem repetitive. While the entirety of The Upsides is worth listening to, there are some songs that simply exceed 97% of pop-punk today. This Party Sucks is home to one of the catchiest choruses of this year, while Everything I Own Fits In This Backpack manages to cover leaving your hometown, feeling isolated and hating ICP in just one song. However, the flat-out terrific Hostels & Brothels earns the title of album highlight, with its time-bomb drums and epic bridge.

2 LPs w/ an etched D side. Vinyl is clear with rainbow splatter. I have been a fan of The Wonder Years for the last few years and was very excited to pick up their latest release. It is exactly what I have to come to expect from them. They did not stray from their typical sound at all, which some bands do unfortunately once they become veterans in the music scene.
The Wonder Years are a six-piece pop punk band from Lansdale, PA, formed in 2005. In my opinion, they're the most essential pop punk band from the 2000s. Not only are they catchy and fun as fuck on recordings and in concert, but their lyrics are so personal and powerful that it's tear-jerking on occasion. Rather than uploading the plethora of EPs and splits these guys have done, I'm just going to upload their compilation album Sleeping On Trash, which has all of their recordings from 2005 to 2010 (except for GSOI!) Get Stoked On It! (2007).
