In Paradisum - Spiritual Classical Music. Luigi Cherubini (1760-1842) was among the earliest romantic composers and used emotion in his opera and choral music in ways that would suit Napoleon and later influence the romantic Beethoven, the Brahms, and the new romantic voice of Richard Wagner. His requiem is heard here in an outstanding period performance by the New Orchestra and Christoph Spering, mated with Cherubini's wonderfully soulful and beautiful funeral device, "In Paradisum", a short piece about life in paradise that is sometimes played to conclude the requiem

Melodic Heavy Symfonia. Personally, I always dig long tracks with tempo changes, choirs, neoclassical touch in guitars and keyboards and truly appreciate what Tolkki's project tried to do with the homonymous "In Paradisum" song for it's one of the few standout moments, but we've all heard numerous better examples before - just shake the dust off those Stratovarius classics or spin a random Rhapsody.

In Paradisum is the debut and only album by multinational power metal band Symfonia, released on March 25, 2011 in Japan and April 1, 2011 in Europe. In paradisum (English: "Into paradise") is an antiphon from the traditional Latin liturgy of the Roman Catholic Requiem Mass
