Lita Ford - Time Capsule flac album

In 2016, Ford released the album Time Capsule – a collection of songs she discovered on old analogue tapes from the 80s featuring recordings she'd made with Billy Sheehan, Gene Simmons, Bruce Kulick, Robin Zander, Rick Nielsen, Dave Navarro, Rodger Carter and Jeff Scott Soto. In the mid-1980s, Ford was briefly engaged to guitarist Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath. She admitted in her autobiography that Iommi was very physically abusive towards her during the relationship on multiple occasions

Culled from a cache of 24-track analog tapes that Ford discovered languishing away in a closet in her Caribbean home, Time Capsule serves as both a gift to fans and an undiluted, if a little rough around the edges, snapshot of the artist jamming with her famous friends at her stiletto-heeled commercial peak.

Time Capsule is Ford's gift to fans who love the '80s, when thrilling vocal performances, raunchy riffs, and loud, growling guitars were as essential as oxygen. I was expecting a lack-luster album where it was more fooling around than actual hard hitting music but I was wrong. Time Capsule ranks up with Lita's best studio albums, is far more intense and I consider it one of her best albums. Several of the songs done on this release were also on the album Black but they are just so much better here. I really never liked "Killin' Kind" from Black until I heard the version on Time Capsule.
