The 1997 remastering of this disc somewhat improves the sound on the band's most personal album, although the difference is less dramatic than on the other classic seven albums, and fans may miss the lyrics that were formerly included.

For a good example of this, pull out This Is The Moody Blues and see for yourself. Second, as far as the sound being different, it's because this is taken from the old quad mix(four channel) and not the two channel stereo.
