Squeeze is the self-titled debut album released by British group Squeeze. The album title was simply Squeeze in the United Kingdom, but in the United States, Canada, Australia and other countries the album, like the band, was marketed under the name . Squeeze to avoid confusion with similarly-named American and Australian groups. The LP was produced by John Cale, except for "Take Me I'm Yours" and "Bang Bang" (also the only singles released from the LP). Those songs were produced by the band.

Tempted is the second single from Squeeze’s Fourth Album, East Side Story. Despite failing to crack the the top 40 in any county where the single was release, Tempted would go on to be one of Squeeze’s most popular and enduring tracks. This was the only Squeeze song not to feature its leaders Chris Difford or Glenn Tilbrook on lead vocals. Instead, it was the album’s keyboardist, Paul Carrack. While the band intended for Paul to be a mainstay in their band, he left to pursue a solo career after the album was released.

Tempted" was the second single released from Squeeze's fourth album, East Side Story.
