CANAL FRAG was a 'secret' project, and 'Controlled Coma' an 'imagined' album from 1994 by Stephen Āh Burroughs ( Head of David, TUNNELS OF ĀH). Following the demise of HEAD OF DAVID, Burroughs made a conscious decision to opt out of the music business to pursue an altogether different lifestyle in the cloistered world Buddhism. The appearances were as support to the legendary power-electronics act, CON-DOM at the Star Club, Birmingham, a socialist establishment and Eve Hill Afro-Caribbean Club in Dudley, two typically enterprising venues arranged by Mike Dando (CON-DOM).
