Pet Shop Boys - Before flac album

Release is the eighth studio album by the English synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys. It was first released in 2002. After the release of their previous studio album, Nightlife, it was originally planned that they would release a greatest hits collection in the autumn of 2000 with the two new tracks "Positive Role Model" and "Somebody Else's Business". While recording the new songs for the hits collection it was decided to produce a full studio album instead.

English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys have released 13 studio albums, three live albums, eight compilation albums, four remix albums, three soundtrack albums, two extended plays and 55 singles. The duo's debut single, "West End Girls", was first released in 1984 but failed to chart in most regions.

On August 7, 1995 an album of Pet Shop Boys B-sides was released. It is called Alternative (a last minute change from the title which had always been saved for this record: Besides). On August 7, 1995 an album of Pet Shop Boys B-sides was released.
