8 Studios (San Diego, California) The Headquarters KSPC (Claremont, California) Ché Café (San Diego, California). The group would eventually break-up in 1993 after playing only 16 live shows total in the southern California area. The last five shows featured Eric Wood (from Man Is the Bastard) on the bass, for their original bassist Hart left the group by that point. One of these last few shows, which was recorded on August 21, 1993 at the Ché Café, is featured as the last four tracks on the 1990-1993 compilation.

Lync was a 1990's indie rock band from Olympia, Washington whose short-lived career proved influential to the lo-fi sound in indie music. Formed in 1992, Lync was comprised of guitarist/vocalist Sam Jayne, bassist/vocalist James Bertram and drummer Dave Schneider. Lync's distinctive sound of distortion, cryptic lyrics, and irregular tuning created a chaotic, visceral sound which drew comparisons to Fugazi, Unwound, The Fall, and Slint. The band went on to release singles on Magic Pail ead more on Last.
