Michael Marshall (Smith) yayınlamayı düşünen yayınevi varsa memnuniyetle çeviririm, ilgisinin bilgilerine arz olunur. The Lonely Dead serinin ikinci kitabı. Sırayla okuyacaksanız eğer. Ha, yanlış sırayla okursanız da aynı zevki alırsınız, ben işte bu ikinci kitaptan başlamıştım, bir sıkıntı da olmadı. Once again Michael Marshall weaves an intricate tale – so intricate that its hard to talk in depth about the plot without offering spoilers – and if you have yet to begin this trilogy then I would be mortified if I spoilt any part of it for you. I can say the mythology deepens – both Ward and John again find themselves facing almost impossible decisions – the world they find themselves in is a lonely and dangerous place.

I have been a fan of Marshall's since 2002 when I had the good fortune of discovering an abandoned copy of The Straw Men at the hotel I worked at back then. Since then I've read every one of his books (including the noir-ish Sci-Fi he wrote as Michael Marshall Smith - Spheres, One of Us, and Only Forward are all fantastic) and will continue to purchase his new books. One quibble: the obvious choice for a title given the book's content would have been Modified & would have been a great title.

The Lonely Dead (The Straw Men Trilogy, Book 2). Michael Marshall. The Country of Ice Cream Star. The Servants - Michael Marshall Smith. He's been forced to leave London for a cold lonely life in Brighton and fears that his mother's new husband has less than good intentions. Visits with the old lady who lives in the basement apartment distract him and then transport him to another world that is also falling apart before his eyes. I read this the day I bought it over the course of about . hours.
