Y'all Is Fantasy Island. 2008 saw the band release their second album, Rescue Weekend, again to critical acclaim The band subsequently released "With Handclaps EP" on Glasgow punk label Winning Sperm Party in August 2008, "No Ceremony" in November 2008 and "Infanticidal Genuflector: Selected Film Soundtrack Work 06/07" in December, respectively.

Marking a significant change of direction (actually, it’s more like they’re going in every direction) No Ceremony contrasts Kurt-punk grunge (particularly evident on ‘Consider Yourself Swallowed’), the Fugazi-like ‘With Handclaps’, the more reflective and mournful ‘Jack Montgomery’ and the punkabilly ‘Wreck on the Highway Boy’. They deliberately, playfully toy with scores of influences, but that’s no bad thing. If heard ‘properly’ by the right people, Y’all Is Fantasy Island could be big by 2010. After a couple of low-key releases, including 2002's cassette only Wisconsin Death Trip mini album and 2005's Skeletal Demos EP, Stafford recruited guitarist/sound engineer Tommy Blair and Jon McCall. The band recruited bassist/keyboardist Robert Lesiuk in 2006 to help fill out their live sound. McCall and Lesiuk left the band in the summer of 2007 with McCall being replaced by Steven Tosh on drums and Jamie Macleod taking over bass duties

Y'all is Fantasy Island is the stage name for Adam Stafford, a 23 year old singer-songwriter from Falkirk, Scotland. He has been writing since his teens. In 2005 he assembled a three piece band to create mainly acoustic based music inspired by other acoustic-folk artists like Will Oldham, Papa M, Sufjan Stevens, Radar Bros. Y'all is Fantasy Island have since released In Faceless Towns Forever, an 11 track album recorded in an abandoned house in August of 2005. A Sight in Salisbury Falls.
